The Nektar™ Shower Filter effectively cleans shower water of chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities using an efficient 5-stage filter cartridge.
Filtration stages:
1. KDF-55: A copper-zinc alloy that works via a redox reaction. It converts chlorine into harmless chloride and binds water-soluble heavy metals such as lead and mercury. It also works in hot water, making it particularly well-suited for showers.
2. Activated carbon: Porous carbon binds chlorine, chlorinated compounds (THMs), and other chemicals to its surface. It also reduces unpleasant odors in the water.
3. Calcium sulfite: Effectively neutralizes chlorine and is specifically used for filtering warm water. It complements the work of the KDF.
4. Mineral ceramic balls: Bind heavy metals, fluoride, and residues. They work alongside the KDF and carbon as a final purification stage.
5. Alkaline mineral balls: Mineralize the water and raise the pH toward neutral, which makes the water feel softer on the skin and hair.

How does Nektar outperform the competition?
1. Unscrew the shower hose from the faucet.
2. Screw on the shower filter and tighten firmly with an adjustable wrench so that the connection does not leak.
3. Screw the shower hose onto the lower screw of the shower filter.
4. Let the water run for approx. 2 minutes before first use.
