The Nektar™ Shower Head Replacement Filter with Limescale Removal offers more effective limescale removal than an activated carbon filter alone.

This filter combines both activated carbon and a malic acid cartridge, which significantly enhances limescale removal from shower water.

Malic acid also binds heavy metal ions (e.g., lead, copper, iron), forming soluble compounds that can be more easily removed during filtration.

The package contains one filter and provides filtered water for up to 6 months.

It binds heavy metal ions (e.g., lead, copper, iron) to form soluble compounds that can be more easily removed by filtration.

When water flows through activated carbon, chemicals and impurities adhere to its porous surface.
Physical and chemical bonds bind these substances to the carbon, trapping them in the filter.

The process does not change the chemical composition of the water, but effectively removes impurities from it.
